Grasings Paella for Two

(This recipe can be multiplied by how many guests anticipated.)


1 tsp. Garlic
1/2 lb. Mussels
1/2 lb. Clams
?? lb. Italian Sausage (Hot or Mild)
1/2 lb. Shrimp; Peeled & Deveined
1/2 Head shaved Fennel
1 cup Marinara Sauce
splash White Wine
1 pinch Saffron
1 pinch Chili Flakes
1/2 lb. Orzo Pasta; Pre Cooked
1 tsp. Olive Oil
1 cup Peas ( fresh if possible; but frozen is O.K.)
1/2 Diced Tomato


Saute mussels, Clams, Sausage and shrimp with garlic and fennel until they, “sing”. add a deglaze with wine. Add marinara, saffron and chili flakes, cover and cook until done. Add peas and serve.
